Standards

Reading
Over the next few weeks, our focus will be on finding the main idea and details of a story. We will also learn how story titles and pictures can help make predictions.

Writing
Our current genre is report writing. We have already completed our first animal report and have started on our second!

Math
Students will continue to develop strategies for addition and subtraction problems and record solutions.

Science/Social Studies
In science, we will learn what animals need to live and grow.
In social studies, we will discuss how people, places, and things change over time.
