Holiday Party
The class enjoyed all of the goodies that were sent in. We pigged out on lots of chips and candy. We posed for group pictures wearing our Santa hats.
Zoo Field Trip
Even though the weather was extremely COLD, we had an enjoyable time at the zoo. We visited the Educational Center and learned a few facts about the life cycle of animals. We even got to pet a snake and a chinchilla. Then, we were off to dine on delicious burgers, hot dogs or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We bundled up and we were off to see the other animals. I think the kids had a fun day learning away from our classroom.
Parkwood Panther Makes a Visit to Room 3
Our precious Parkwood Panther visited our class after the December Flag Salute! He helped edit our Morning Message and was 100% correct. We were wowed by how smart he is!
Thanksgiving Fun
For Thanksgiving, we decorated delicious cupcakes to look like a turkey. We made a yummy mess but we had lots of fun! Mr. Jacobs, our Terry Parker helper joined in the fun too.
Math Investigation Game: Totals of Ten
During the month of December, we played different card games in math to practice combinations of ten. In this game partners had to find 2 cards whose total equaled 10. They also had to record their equations when they found all possible pairs.
Science Activity
Our class had fun sorting and categorizing rocks according to their size, shape, color, and texture.

Mrs. Pevy's First Post
I hope you all enjoyed the carnival on Friday night! Our golf booth was a huge success. The line was never ending. I would like to thank David's Nana, Freddie's Mom and Carissa's parents for helping out.
